Attending weddings is hard work. The occasion has even been written off as being a work expense by two US Senators at a recent wedding! Most brides and grooms would be appalled that someone came to their wedding looking for professional opportunities. The two Senators at the wedding in question, George Brandis and Barnaby Joyce, arrived there for the benefit of networking and left, no doubt, well fed and watered! If they think treating a wedding as a business expense is the way to go then they might want to think again … they will most certainly not be getting my vote anytime soon!
