Hawaii gay marriage is now legal
and here to stay. Gay marriage has come to Hawaii effective December 2nd, 2013. Gays have every reason to celebrate. Parts of Hawaii are incredibly wonderful places to celebrate the union of same sex lovers and their children. Your desire to rush off and get legally married is fully understandable.
Hawaii gay marriage – don’t just get married, celebrate your marriage!
You don’t want to just get married. You want to celebrate your marriage. And what better place than Hawaii to do that? Now thanks to the new gay marriage law in Hawaii, gay and straight couples alike can celebrate their love in style, and choose to legally get married in Hawaii, tropical beach sunset and all.
Hawaii gay marriage usually means getting hitched and photographed outdoors
You are not going to, let’s say, the garden island of Kauai, to be photographed in front of a studio background. You want to be photographed in a beautiful outside setting! Many choose the beach nearing sunset, which can be powerfully dramatic. Storm clouds photograph fantastically but be sure you have an experienced photographer who knows how to time things to beat the shower so you don’t have to wait.
Don’t underestimate the beauty and drama of other locations like a forest or tropical waterfall. Lighting is a bit more tricky so again you need someone with knowledge of the area and experience. Trust me, you don’t want posed scenes of you holding hands showing your wedding rings. Oh sure, they’ll probably take one of those but that is never the one you want framed and hanging in your home to share with everyone who enters. A posed kiss looks like a posed kiss. You want a photographer who is really excited about your celebration and captures that emotional spontaneous joyful kiss.
