Timory McDonald
Timory is the owner, house photographer, on-site coordinator and founder of Aloha Ever After.
She is a world traveler (see map below) and adventurer. She moved to Kauai in 1999 and loves the island beyond words. After traveling the world she had the option to live wherever she wanted to, and chose to both live and marry on the gorgeous island of Kauai. Kauai is the most beautiful place on Earth and has a wonderful community of kind people. Why would I want to live anywhere else if I could live here?”
She is now the mother of two beautiful boys born on Kauai and in her profession she loves to help couples and families make their dream wedding become a reality on this island paradise. She has been a wedding planner and photographer for years.
She knows how to work with children extremely well so if you have family or children coming to your wedding or photo shoot, she is very skilled and can capture the perfect group or family photos.
Timory has a unique gift for connecting with people so she is a natural when it comes to planning and organizing your special wedding event. Whether it be helping to create your special wedding day, or choosing just the right background and lighting for that stunning photo, she can make it happen.
Joel McDonald
Joel is an ordained minister, certified to perform wedding, civil union and vow renewal ceremonies in Hawaii. He would be honored to be part of your special ceremony, and loves the intimate and deep nature of the vow exchange and wedding ceremony, one of the most sacred and important moments of your life! Joel is a spiritual, non denominational minister who sees the truth in all religions, and would be happy to accommodate whatever kind of ceremony you desire.
Joel incorporates Hawaiian elements into the event, such as Hawaiian Blessings throughout the ceremony, and is happy to do a pre-wedding vow consultation at no additional cost. He can send you sample wedding vows or help you write your own. He also offers the special Sand or Water Ceremony.
Joel and Timory were blessed to have their wedding ceremony and reception (both planned by Aloha Ever After) on one of Kauai’s beautiful beaches at sunset. It was outrageously gorgeous!
Kalasara Del Viscovo
Kalasara is an experienced wedding, family and nature photographer. She loves photographing weddings because of all the interesting people she meets from around the world in their happiest moments. She loves the art of photography, including the constantly changing light and the variety of scenes that always allows for new creativity.
She studied Photography and Commercial Art at the University of Arizona, and under the instruction of professional photographer, Tad Nichols, a student of Ansel Adams. She specializes taking photos of weddings, family portraits, events, animals and the wondrous moments of nature.
Robert Zelkovsky
Robert is a very varied and accomplished videographer/editor and his favorite type of video to produce are wedding videos. And who can blame him? All that love being shared by the couple in front of their family and friends, usually on a beautiful Kauai beach at sunset.
The art of video and the equipment used have changed greatly in the past 20 years but a few things remain constant – acquiring beautiful video images, clean crisp audio and the telling of the story of the wedding day in a video that will be watched and shared over and over. Robert is an expert editor. He has had 5 films accepted into film festivals. He will do a great job of telling the story of your wedding day, either in a short highlight video or a long form beginning to end video.
Caitlin Cowell
Caitlin is a licensed cosmetologist, specializing in bridal hair and makeup, who has also worked as a wedding planner – the perfect person you want with you the couple of hours before you get married! She has been a part of making people’s big day a dream come true for over six years. Her high energy and positive attitude are a perfect match for the wedding industry. She has a knack for performing well under pressure. Keeping up to date on wedding styles and trends is a part of her life!
You can take a deep breath knowing Caitlin is part of your wedding planning team. Having grown up on the island of Hawaii, and visiting Kauai every summer during this time, moving to Kauai was a easy choice when her son was born. She truly felt there was no better place to raise a child than here amongst the pristine beaches she knows and loves, and the beautiful scenery and spirit that forms the island of Kauai.
